In the end, everything comes together and starts again: freedom and synthesis. Drawing, color, animals, machines, cities, Brazil, Europe, myths, heroes, grace, fine irony and cultured commentary. All at once. A mature and optimistic chaos, a realistic dream of another life and another country. Gerda finds the enigma of the 21st century.

Gerda Brentani died in 1999, at the age of 93. As if she were a character from her children's books, she was quite old and still very young.
